mainly because the cast appealed to me and if a movie cover has a
bunch of stars on the front I figure it must be good.
And sometimes they are.
And sometimes not.
I guess I want those movies to be good. I sit through them thinking
"this is a good movie, there must be something wrong with me" and all
the while I am simply not enjoying it all.
So I rented Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy from iTunes and sat down ready
to be enthralled.
But I just couldn't bring myself to care about any of the characters.
Perhaps if I was a nearly retired 65 year old I could relate better to
the main dude, but I doubt it.
My wife was tired so we turned it off three quarters of the way
through and went to bed. I never finished watching it. Doubt I ever
