Tintin the movie was worth watching, but still left me a little underwhelmed in terms of what it could have been.
I couldn't say I have ever seen a computer animated movie with bettergraphics. What was able to be achieved in Tintin in terms of realismwas amazing. It was countered however but some very unamazing renderings of some of the characters, but this was probably to keeptrue to the original comic books.
I wasn't sure exactly who the market for the film was. The story was too strange for my teenagers to enjoy, there was too much violence for my 2 and 4 year olds to watch, and the implausibility of some of the events and plot lines leaves adults feeling a bit uninvolved.
But having said all that, I would still say I enjoyed the movie, and would even watch it again. And maybe when my boys are a bit older they will enjoy it too. 3 Stars
