they are cute, fun, asleep, laughing with you, all that stuff.
But when they are disobedient... repeatedly, sent home from school,
unhelpful... all that stuff... and you aren't FEELING loving, that's
when it becomes a DECISION. Am I going to love, build up, encourage,
care for, adore, gently correct, be there for, spend time with... all
that stuff... my child because I have DECIDED I am going to love him
no matter what? Or will I react to his behavior?
What sets us apart from the "childish" is our ability to do what is
right and loving when we don't FEEL like it.
